Its been a grueling 2011, I am please to say its COMING TO AN END !!!!

Have been trying many NORMAL jobs and businesses in 2010 - 2011 and I guess it was never my "cup of tea". The horrific experience of meeting up with Rich, Wealthy and Important people are nevertheless an experience... My brush through with these people taught me lessons that a Degree in Management nor Business can never teach, which is to be stingy, selfish and cunning can make lots of money. Title-ship is just a key to open gates and license to screw anyone that has a great idea to share... YES, I do sound bitter cos I am utterly disappointed with procrastinators and hypocrites. Tired of promises and also hate the word "BROTHER"...

Been screwed twice by friends that I thought were genuine, but thats normal when you leave your guards down among "BROTHERS". So never use neither abuse the word, if you want to use it, please say it without a motive or a conspiracy. You don't know how much it hurts to be screwed by buddies...

Anyway, this post is me letting out all my frustrations and to begin my new year with a new plan.

Shopping and Giving season around the corner, I would like to wish all of you Happy Holidays and remember: "Its cheap to speak the word, but its expensive to mean it" - So weigh it before you sell it or buy it.

FINALLY...!

Our insulation house is up and ready to go... There was an interesting twist to the usage of our insulated panels, which brought us into an all new industry. An agricultural industry known as "Swiftlet Farming", a very interesting and lucrative investment.

Douglas and myself are working along side with Swiftlet Farmer Mr. Ooi and his brother. Building fast and flexible Swiftlet Houses in the northern states of Malaysia. These are some pictures of our sample house in Juru, Penang.

Our hard work paid off when we finished this 64' by 16' double storey 2048sqft building in ONE month and with a maximum of 5 workers.

With improved design and engineering, these houses can be water resistance, fire resistance and earthquake proof. By using our material, we can build a strong yet flexible residence for healthier and greener living for families.

These houses can also be self sustainable with our ADD-ONs' - Geothermal Cooling System, Rain Water Harvesting & Recycling, Solar and Wind Power Generator Systems.

Geothermal heating and cooling uses the relatively constant temperature of the earth to heat and cool homes and businesses with 40% to 70% less energy than conventional systems. While conventional furnaces and boilers burn a fuel to generate heat, geothermal heat pumps use electricity to simply move heat from the earth into buildings, allowing much higher efficiencies. The most efficient fuel-burning heater can reach efficiencies around 95%, but a geothermal heat pump can move up to 4 units of heat for every unit of electricity needed to power the system, resulting in a practical equivalence of over 400% efficiency.

Hi Guys,

Sorry, guess I will be away longer then I thought...

Currently I am in Toronto Canada and trying to figure out how a million dollar project comes together. With my buddy Douglas, who is down with a bad back and headaches. I wonder if he is up to the challenge of putting these projects together. Hummmmm...

Well, I always believe that God has its funny ways in sharpening me and frequently testing my tolerance. I have committed this adventure to him and I guess its the hurdles that I must overcome in order to succeed.

As much as I would like to speed things up, I comfort myself by constant reminders of the Lords ways and seek refuge in him every day and night.

Well... just to let you guys know a little of what I am doing here, below are some of the challenging projects I am working on.

1. WTE - Waste To Energy Solutions for countries who have oversized landfills of garbage.

2. WWM - Water Water Management for clearing sewage and bio waste.

3. SIP - Structural Insulated Panels to build houses that can save a HELL LOT of energy and its like Lego, building houses will never be the same anymore.

4. Wines - Representing 1000 some odd wineries with my principle company in Canada to open the Asian market and develop their brands there.

I guess I need to pray real hard for it will take a lot of life out of me this time to pull all these off.

12 May 2009 -- As of 06:00 GMT, 12 May 2009, 30 countries have officially reported 5251 cases of influenza A(H1N1) infection.

Mexico has reported 2059 laboratory confirmed human cases of infection, including 56 deaths. The United States has reported 2600 laboratory confirmed human cases, including three deaths. Canada has reported 330 laboratory confirmed human cases, including one death. Costa Rica has reported eight laboratory confirmed human cases, including one death.

The following countries have reported laboratory confirmed cases with no deaths - Argentina (1), Australia (1), Austria (1), Brazil (8), China (2, comprising 1 in China, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and 1 in mainland China), Colombia (3), Denmark (1), El Salvador (4), France (13), Germany (12), Guatemala (1), Ireland (1), Israel (7), Italy (9), Japan (4), Netherlands (3), New Zealand (7), Norway (2), Panama (16), Poland (1), Portugal (1), Republic of Korea (3), Spain (95), Sweden (2), Switzerland (1) and the United Kingdom (55).

WHO is not recommending travel restrictions related to the outbreak of the influenza A(H1N1) virus.

Individuals who are ill should delay travel plans and returning travelers who fall ill should seek appropriate medical care. These recommendations are prudent measures which can limit the spread of many communicable diseases, including influenza.

Further information on the situation will be available on the WHO web site on a regular basis.

Wishing everybody a Great New Year !

We are zooming into the uncharted year of the golden OX and many have fears of a Bearish year… “Understandable”

However, looking on the bright side of things, this year is a great year for excitement and adventures, as many things will drop to all time low prices and business opportunities will bloom. If only you guys sees the fact that the economy works in a cycle.

Low demand = lesser production = lesser work = lesser worker = VSS & Jobless = economy crash and BURN………… Get my point…?

Spend within our means and keep spending is the only help we can give ourselves in times like these.

I personally think that being "Penny wise and Pound Foolish" will not help anyone. Not that we should spend lavishly but wisely and within our means that should bring us through any difficult times coming our way. Well, enough of the Recession issue... I've come across quite a few bartenders who didn't really like the taste or the idea of using Midori behind their bars. Some find it a bit of a bubble gum or 'candish' drink and others just didn't like it because its cloying or sweet. THE VERVE
Glassware: Highball or Collins
Ingredients:
5 nos Red Grape (Seedless)
30ml Suntory Midori
30ml Freshly Squeezed Grapefruit Juice
10ml Ravifruit Peach Puree
1 Lemon Wedge (squeeze)
Large Ice Cube

Technique:
Muddle grapes in a mixing glass. Add rest of ingredients into mixing glass and shake. Strain content into and ice filled glassware and top with a splash of bitter lemon.
Garnish with a grape bunch and mint sprig

On Tuesday 17 July, the legend that is Carl Cox makes his much anticipated return to Space, following a hugely successful 2006 in Ibiza. A season so eventful that it won the coveted 'Best Ibiza Club Night' at the Ibiza DJ awards.

Of course, when you combine one of the biggest, and most amiable, names in dance with arguably the best club in the world, Space, you can expect something a little special.

And special it is too - Carl Cox simply loves to dj and perform to a crowd, while his enthusiasm and love for music is contagious. When he's enjoying himself, then rest assured - the crowd are in for a treat.

THE PRINCESS of Pacha, Australian Sarah Main had already conquered Sydney's biggest clubs when she decided to crack Ibiza just after the millennium. Going from Sydney's hottest house talent to another unknown Ibiza DJ was a bold move but fast-forward seven years and Sarah is sitting pretty as Pacha Ibiza's main resident. BEST PLACE TO EAT: "My local El Pato does the most amazing tapas but with a modern European style. My recommendations? They do a beautiful goats cheese and forest berry salad and their Penne Arrabiata is a must."

BEST PLACE TO DRINK: "Usually Ibiza town's Rock Bar or Base Bar because you know you're going to hook up with people that you really want to see but don't get a chance to normally. For a nice moonlit cocktail, it's got to be the terrace at L'Elephant."

BEST PLACE TO SHOP: "I'm the worst shopper in the world so I've got a friend who acts as my unofficial stylish. She's a compulsive shopper and really good at putting outfits together. Oddity in Ibiza town is cool and the Spanish label Custo do some really original, colourful prints — it's like Miro on clothes. They don't follow trends and have a really unique Spanish look."

This project started in January 2006.
At the onset, I had some general objectives.

* Write my own songs and lyrics
* Do a variety of styles to reflect my various musical influences
* Not pander to any commercial interests,just do songs the way I want.
* Try to get like-minded musicians to work with.
* To complete the album by December 2006.

So now it's way into 2007 already, where do I stand?
I've got the songs, am about 2 weeks away from completing all the songs' mixes to send for pre-production mastering.

After my last band broke up I sort of lost the energy to form a new group. It seemed pointless, just spending so much effort to do the same thing over again, in an environment where bands are only allowed to play cover songs and anything original is frowned upon.

With this album project, I'm taking on and enjoying a whole new set of challenges. So OK, they come with a whole new pile of headaches too, but the important thing is that I'm doing something new and it feels great to be right in the middle of a big creative project.

It would be good to get an occasional e-mail/message, just to know what anyone thinks of all this. Thanks.

1* Fatboy Plans Beach Bash

Superstar DJ in talks with Brighton's authorities to host massive beach bash on New Year's Day

Despite the chaos of his previous beach parties in Brighton, Fatboy Slim is in talks with the city council and emergency services to host another beach bash, this time on New Year’s Day.

Discussions are underway between Norm’s management and the authorities for a 25,000 daytime ticket-only event on Marine Drive.

A beach party hosted by Fatboy in July 2002 ended in carnage after 250,000 people turned up.

More Chilled

Council leader Simon Burgess said the 2007 gig would be much more chilled.

"We obviously couldn't have anything like the last one," he said.

"Part of the problem last time was that it was on the pebble beach.

"This one would have one tenth of the audience and would be in a contained area where many large events are held."

Transport Chaos

Thousands of clubbers were left stranded at Brighton’s train station in 2002 as transport ground to a halt.

Cook attempted to hold another summer beach party in the city in 2004, but failed to reach an agreement with the authorities that time.

Mr Burgess said the New Year's Day party could be good for the city and he hoped it would go ahead.

"The council are keen to do everything we can - it is too easy to put up obstacles," he said.

"We like to be youthful in Brighton and Hove and being associated with big events like this is important to us."

A spokeswoman for Sussex cops said the 2002 event put a "huge strain" on the city, which could not happen again.

But the force was not opposed to a party being held subject to strict restrictions.

SINGAPORE is aiming to be the clubbing capital of Asia and this year alone, over $48 million has been pumped into the nightlife scene. The S$40 million St James Power Station will be fully opened by mid-December with 9 different outlets.
These include Movida - the word means 'party' in Cuban street slang - which will play live world music and Mono, a karaoke venue with plush interiors.

Dragonfly will feature a medley of live Chinese tunes, R&B grooves and trance music while the Bellini Room is a Swing Bar.

And if you are not already spoilt for choice, Lifebrandz, the company behind the Ministry of Sound, is investing over S$8 million in six entertainment outlets to be opened by December.

Five will be at Clarke Quay, and Cafe Del Mar, regarded by many as one of the world's most iconic chill out bars, will be at Sentosa.

Calvin Sio, Marketing Manager, The Cannery at Clarke Quay, Lifebrandz, says: "What we are going to build up next is Hed Kandi's Kandi Bar. Hed Kandi is a dance brand, a very popular dance label. We've got Buddha Bar's B* Fly* which essentially is a restaurant and a bar from Paris. There is also an Italian restaurant called Bice which we are going to bring in. And of course, the very famous Fashion TV's Fashion Bar, FBar we call it."

Dennis Foo, CEO, The St James, says: "In any industry, there must be competition, if there is no competition, there is no progress. There are a lot of professionals, managers, executives and businessmen who actually have nowhere to go - we created St James for them."

When asked about the shaking up of the nightlife scene, Zouk's Marketing Manager Tracy Phillips said: "When these outlets first open, they will probably have a small impact on our business since it is only human nature that people would want to check out anything new. In the long run, we believe we do have a very loyal following who would eventually come back to Zouk. Also, getting more people to appreciate electronic dance music of all genres will only widen the slice of the pie in our once very niche market when we first started 15 years ago."

Smaller establishments too say they are unfazed by the battle for the fun dollar.

Michel Lu just opened Hacienda in Dempsey Road, an area fast becoming a choice location for the hip and happening.

And even Little India has trendy clubs lodged between shop houses selling spices.

Hai, Manager, Bar Baa Black Chic in Little India, says: "When you name brand names, they are branded for a reason - if assuming you don't have mainstream, you will never be able to get alternatives. I think people are perpetually looking for alternatives. The people that come here, you get producers, DJs, the media people."

Alcohol companies are also toasting to the nightlife scene.

Diageo, a global alcohol company, opened a S$13 million regional logistics hub in Singapore earlier in the week.

The centre will handle 3.5 million cases of Diageo beverages in its first year, growing to 6 million cases in 2007 and 8 million in subsequent years.

Diageo carries the Smirnoff, Guinness, Johnnie Walker, Baileys brands and others wines, spirits and beers.

Champagne company, Moet & Chandon, says Singapore is its most important market in Asia.

"Singapore is important because of finance, the power of Singapore goes beyond the country, so if you are strong in Singapore, you might also be strong in the rest of Asia." said Jean Berchon, Vice President, Corporate Communications, Moet & Chandon.

So can Singapore be the clubbing capital of the region?

Many clubbers say the country is well on its way.

The Singapore Tourism Board sees entertainment as a key sector that will help bring in 17 million visitors to spend S$30 billion by 2015.

The crazy end year mad rush is here again, many clubs either selling or upgrading. Perhaps this year there would be more selling then buying. Bargain Galore !!!

There are people that are rushing to open an outlet for the festive seasons hoping to fetch back their investments and there are owners that are taking this advantage selling their club at a better price. All this dealings happens every year about the same time.

The scene in Penang has not improved this 2006.

Liquor Taxes

With the increase in liquor taxes, all beverage retail prices have to be re-calculated and that spells "TROUBLE" as the consumer still expect low pricing. This is the result of many (almost all) clubs that uses the "price wars" tactic to bring in customers, now it has became a norm for all consumers to expect RM6.00 to RM7.50 a mug of beer.

EEeeeeeeppppyyyyy ! For the illegal liquor importers...

Question:

1. With the rock bottom margins, what can an outlet possibly provide in quality eneteratinment?
2. When will the "copy cat" theory stop?
3. Is there hope for Penang Clubbing scene?
4. Is there enough consumers to sustain so many outlets?

In my opinion Progressive House was more an evolution of Progressive
Rock ! - The soul influences of artists like Larry Heard, was no where
